To register as a Workplace Chaplain, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and experience:
Intern Chaplains: Chaplaincy students with a minimum of a Cert IV in Chaplaincy / Pastoral Care who are working towards a Diploma of Chaplaincy and a unit in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
Chaplains: Individuals with a minimum of a Diploma of Chaplaincy and a unit in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) with at least 2 years experience in pastoral care / chaplaincy. Other suitable work experience will also be considered e.g. ministry work, mental health and counselling etc.
Senior Chaplains: Ordained Ministers with a minimum of a Diploma of Chaplaincy, unit in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) and a Bachelor in Ministry or Theology with at least 5 years experience in a pastoral care / chaplaincy role.
Principal Chaplains: Ordained Ministers with a minimum of a Masters in Theology / Divinity / Chaplaincy with at least 10 years experience managing a pastoral care / chaplaincy team.
